Please enjoy browsing and should you buy a doll she will be packaged in an organza bag. I have been given literally hundreds and will use them until they run out rather than let them go to landfill. Also I have been asked why I don't often repeat combinations of fabric with the dolls. It is because I tend to buy remnant stock where I can, tiny pieces of fabric that are too small for most people to use. So often I have only enough to make one doll. I love my grumpy frogs and really enjoy the embroidery and dressing them in the best fabric. This is a new size, only nine inches. They are smaller and sweeter than their bigger sisters with lots of lovely embroidery xx

Full description
Verdy is a tiny grumpy boy frog with a sweet nature. He stands just nine inches tall. He is a tubby frog with hand painted features and hand embroidered details. He is dressed in a lovely fine cotton lawn by Lewis and Irene called Star Floral from the Jardin de Lis collection in gold and blue with a hint of turquoise. He has coordinating plus fours in yarn dye cotton with a silk cravat.
He is softly stuffed with a good stuffing, has a malachite crystal heart for strength and lots of rosemary in his stuffing for a gentle scent. He is finished with tiny buttons and little leather shoes. He sports a sampler pillow with a dragonfly charm.
He is a folk art doll for grown up and is sadly not suitable for children to play with.
