The inspiration for this drypoint etching was fairy stories. I loved reading these stories as a child. Often in my art childhood stories come back to me in my prints and paintings. I love the dreamlike quality that etchings give. The way the ink glides across the surface of the etching plate produces quite a delicate effect.

Drypoint etching of a Sleeping Princess. Based on the Fairy Story the Princess and the Pea. Printed in a darkish pinky purple. Also available in lighter tones in my shop. Look in my Drypoint etching Collection.
20.4 x 20.4 cm overall size
12.5 x 12.5 cm image size
There will be variations in each print as ink is hand applied. The small stars are handpainted in silver.
Print will be carefully wrapped and send in a reinforced envelope.
UK Customers will be sent via Royal Mail signed for service.
Overseas tracked and signed.
