This form of Jasper gets its name from the silver-grey-green colours, reminiscent of Aspen leaves.
Once thought to release nature's energy, promoting balance, wholeness and strength of purpose.
Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass.
Sometimes tiny gas bubbles, mineral crystals and rock debris are trapped within the lava as it cools, and these cause reflecting light to give a metallic sheen,
This sheen gives "gold-sheen", "silver-sheen" or "rainbow" obsidian.
Gold Sheen Obsidian is thought to promote emotional balance and clarity of mind.
