Ready-made items will be dispatched within 1 day of ordering (see each listing). I've paused commissions for my embroidered play scenes and patchwork quilts until next year, but I have gift voucher options.
These luggage tags were inspired by my daughter who studied textile design technology as one of her GCSE subjects. She made customised denim shorts from old jeans and wanted to put the denim from the legs to good use.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Upcycled denim and lace gift tags. A thoughtful addition to presents for all ages - from teenagers to your gran. Try pairing them with recycled brown parcel paper or a vintage scarf for a truly eco-friendly gift wrap solution.
Each set of 4 gift tags has been created from different denim pieces from vintage and pre-loved jeans and trimmed with scraps of lace.
Beautiful lace pieces have been added to light and dark denim before being sewn to card luggage tags with the backs left blank for your message. Simply trimmed close to the card edge, the denim is slightly fraying which adds to the casual look.The tags tie with white cotton strings.
The sets shown are examples - you will receive a set chosen at random which will include a selection of blue, cream, white, gold or black lace pieces as indicated by the photographs - and a few tags have a little button. The colour of the backs vary - some sets are a light brown, others are brightly coloured. But please message me if you would like a particular style and I'll see what I can do.
Each tag measures 12 by 6 cm (approx 4.5 by 2.5 inches).
