Full description
Set of 3 gift tags in plum pink and cream. Zero waste - these tags use recycled and salvaged textiles, and come with a smaller detachable card tags that can be replaced - so you can reuse them many times. Each tag is unique and will add a little luxury trim to a special gift.
As part of my zero waste approach to crafting, I am reclaiming textiles from old curtain fabric sample books. These tags use the edges that have card backing - each uses a different offcut from the Silk Road collection by iLiv, in the plum colour.
The fabrics are beautifully textured, including a embroidered floral spike in mixed fabrics, and a printed flower and a rustic stripe weave in cotton.
The curtain samples have been layered on top of card luggage tags that I covered with raw silk fabric scraps - left ovever from making my wedding dress in the 90s. Scraps of vintage lace and salvaged upholstery braid add extra detail
The tags are finished with a vintage button - one is mother of pearl the other two are pearlised plastic, and have cotton strings for tying to your gift.
Each tag measures 12 by 6 cm (approx 4.5 by 2.5 inches)
