Here is a 1 1/2th scale rubber baby dressed in a fully removable 3 piece pram suit in blue. It’s a little fiddly to re-tie the thread through the waist of the leggings, if you do undress the baby,but it can be done.
This doll, which is sucking it’s thumb, is hard to find now and fits nicely in the customised pram I have in this category. The others are different styles.
I knitted this set from a pattern by Deena Tyson in the May 2001 issue of Dolls House World.
The set consists of a Jacket, Leggings and Hat. The style suits both a boy and a girl of the1940’s and is skilfully knitted in DMC 80 cotton on size 22 needles, with beads as buttons!
