Making a vase like this will take 12-15+ hours with all the various stages. There is the preparation of the clay; rolling out of the coils; creating the shape; bisque firing; glazing; and second firing. In addition to the costs of labour there are overheads other than the clay including the expensive metallic glaze and the two kiln firings.
