My background is in Graphic Design and although I'm now retired I still enjoy the creative process. A lot of my work features birds and flowers and I particularly love combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, one-of-a-kind mixed media pieces.

Full description
This colourful tile was handmade using polymer clay and then debossed with woodblocks and painted to create a tiled effect.
It's displayed shadow box frame with glass at the front and a hanging hook on the back. The outer edges of the frame measure 195mm sq, the visible area is 155mm sq and the tile measures 110mm sq. (The photos were taken without the glass in order to reduce glare.)
