I thought the round softness of the Dill flower with its glorious golden umbels lent itself well to round hoop art. By using fine cotton the detail of the flower comes to life, and is not blurred by an open weave in the fabric.

Full description
Beautiful botanicals, Cyanotype, and natural cotton fabric, all come together in a Beech wooden hoop to produce a lovely piece of art. The contrast of Dill flower umbels on the Prussian Blue is eye-catching and the detail of the Dill really shines through. The back is finished with white felt and a ribbon is added to hang the hoop, it would look equally lovely in a suitable stand on any shelf or dresser.
What a lovely gift for someone special or to treat yourself at any time of the year.

This hoop is named 'Asteria' and is numbered and is an original artwork. It measures approximately 6 ".
The beech hoop is British-made and lightly waxed to protect it. The Hoop comes carefully protected in a clear bag and care instructions are included- Dust only do not wash. As with all art, it should be displayed out of direct sunlight, and not in areas of high humidity such as bathrooms. It will be posted out in a protective box.
