I let this hydrangea bloom, dry indoors until it was just starting to go crisp, then gently trimmed and flattened it ready for the photo shoot with Cyanotype, out in the sun again, luckily she loved.

Beautiful gift, Original Artwork, ideal Gift for a Gardener
This Photogram was made using the Wet Cyanotype technique, which means adding a gentle mist of dilute vinegar and some bubbles onto the paper before exposure to the sun. The results are a lovely variety of blues, greens and browns, giving the print a unique look. Recognisable as a hydrangea by the delicate flowers growing from their twiggy stems, giving the classic Hydrangea puffball shape.
I thought she looked very demure sitting on the paper- hence her name.

Created on 300gsm acid-free watercolour paper.
Named ‘Demure’ numbered and signed on the reverse, it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity as an Original Artwork 1/1

The frames, mounts and props shown in the photos are for illustrative purposes only.
For delivery, the photogram will be protected with a sheet of glassine and then rolled into a postal tube, on arrival, place it face down on the glassine sheet and pop some books on top to flatten it for 24/36 hrs. The tube is reusable and recyclable.
The tube will be sent by Parcel Force 48hr tracked.
