Full description
This useful large sized make up bag is made from three lovely co-ordinating print fabrics. The front of the cosmetic bag has three panels. The main feature is a panel of William Morris Strawberry Thief fabric. This shows a thrush, with a strawberry in its beak, sitting amongst strawberries, flowers and foliage. The pattern is depicted in shades of cream, beige, golden brown, olive green, grey and burgundy, on a red background. I've teamed this fabric with a beige fabric with a geometric repeating pattern of white four petaled flowers, and with a creamy beige fabric with narrow taupe and white stripes. The striped fabric also makes up the back of the cosmetic bag. The make up bag fastens with a matching red zip and is lined with golden yellow fabric with a woven pattern of small squares. The base of the bag is boxed giving lots of space inside.
This handy large-sized cosmetic bag can be used to store lots of make up and could also be used as a pencil case, or a storage pouch for other items. The bag, with its gorgeous Strawberry Thief fabric, would make a lovely gift, particularly for someone who loves William Morris designs and the Arts and Crafts movement.
