Last years stock - now in my clearance sale.
A wood storage box with internal compartment decorated with needlefelt art work.
I've taken a wooden box which originally held an assortment of tea bags. I've decorated it with pieces of handmade needlefelt art work in different floral designs.
The top has colourful poppies swaying amongst the tall grasses. Made using wool fibres and wool curls needlefelted onto vintage wool blanket. The front section has a needlefelted background with hand embroidered daisies. Lifting the lid reveals hand embroidered flowers on a piece of pink vintage wool blanket.
The internal compartment would be a lovely way for a gradener to store this years seeds, keeping them safe for planting next year. Or use it as a trinket box or even restock it with tea bags.
A lovely unusual gift for a gardener, or a special friend.
The box box measures 24 cm x 17 cm x 5.5 cm. and is in good condition.
