Full description
Oak Leaf is a small handwoven tapestry made with a mixture of wools, and yarn with metallic threads. It has been woven with a brown cotton warp, and the weft is varied in its shades with its mix of wools in shades of ochre, yellow, gold, purple and blue. The darker blue is one of my hand spun merino yarns. It has been stitched onto linen mix fabric measuring approx 18 x 18cm with the weaving itself measuring 9 x 10cm, and is ready for framing.
This piece will be carefully wrapped in tissue and sent in a padded envelope, by Royal Mail. I reuse packaging to keep down costs for my customers
