Welcome to Janiemade and my little corner of Folksy where you can buy my crocheted creations. If you're looking for skilfully handmade gifts and home decor I hope you'll find something you love. I enjoy crocheting with natural fibres, mainly cotton, and many of my home decor items use recycled braided cotton cord or recycled cotton T shirt yarn. All items are ready to post and I only charge postage on your first item. Your order will be sent by Royal Mail 2nd class post.

I love working with this braided cord, it's made from recycled cotton in Poland and comes in lots of colours. I love the raindrop shape of this container and I have amended the original pattern so that the pouch is a good size and will completely hide a tiny plant pot.

Full description
A small hanging basket in a raindrop / teardrop shape that lies flat against the wall. It hangs from an integral crocheted loop.
The basket is made from recycled cotton braided cord, the shade is called 'Pastel' and is a pale blue with threads of pink and green mixed through which gives a lovely sheen. The item is flexible but retains its shape and is a wonderfully tactile design.
It's a useful size for displaying air plants, a small cactus or a baby houseplant, or hang from a door handle and keep your keys handy. This attractively shaped container would also brighten up a plain wall if used with a small arrangement of dried or artificial flowers.
Measurements: Approximately 26cm high, including hanging loop, and 17cm across at widest point. 'Pocket' is 9cm at its maximum depth.
Care instructions: I recommend a gentle surface clean with a damp cloth to remove dust but item may be carefully washed by hand at 30C, reshape whilst damp. Do not bleach; Do not iron; Do not tumble dry.
