I made this necklace when I first started experimenting with fusing wire, I had tried fusing two metals together and wanted to see if I could get a nice fused spiral, copper wire melts really quite quickly so I finished up with all these crazy shapes and little wiggles. I rather like the end result. It wouldn't be for everyone but there will certainly never be another like it!

Full description
A string of three bone discs with fused copper wire pieces hanging on top of them and in between.
The necklace has coiled copper wire between each pendant to separate them and is hung on a narrow, red, leather thong. The fastening is a copper lobster claw and jumpring.
The necklace has an ancient appearance like something that might have been unearthed by an archaeologist. The little bone discs are old game counters and were a very deep red to start with, I bleached them to this soft pinkish tone before drilling them to hang.
The odd shapes in copper are made by applying heat to coils and twists of copper wire until they melt, the shapes are really random and I have little control over the outcome but I rather like that.
The necklace is approximately 45cm in length and each disc is about 1cm across.
I think this would suit anyone of any age or gender if they have quirky taste.
