INTERNATIONAL POST - I'm in the process of updating postage for the US and have temporarily removed it from my listings whilst I recalculate the prices to include the new taxes and handling fees which have to be paid prior to my items entering the US. If you are based in the US and wish to purchase something please send me a message and I will happily send you a quote and add the postage and charges back on to the item.

Full description
A beautifully detailed hand sewn and hand embroidered Spring inspired large pincushion.
Measures approx 4" diameter across the top.
Completely hand sewn onto natural silk noil.
I have used a lovely yellow colourway for the Spring inspired pincushion, vibrant yellows, soft lemons, naturals, creams and soft greens.Hand embroidered using various stitches including buillions, satin, fern, fly, straight stitches and French knots. a pretty border of pretty yellow spring flowers to one side of the pincushion top.
Filled very firmly with super polyester filling, a cotton form was made then the embroidered silk complete with a cotton backing was laced over the form as tightly as possible to minimise creasing around the gathered fabric.
Fitted to a 4" natural beech wooden bowl which has been coated with modge podge, decorated with natural crochet lace and a soft lemon rolled ribbon tied to a small bow at the centre front.
My pincushions have 3 layers of fabric to ensure a long life.
Made for the crafter, someone who loves to sew, this would make a beautiful unique keepsake gift.
This will be posted by Royal Mail 2nd class parcel post and will require a signature upon delivery.
