An amazing find last summer was this embroidered bed throw. I have made it into a large beach bag or shopper, and padded it lightly along the embroidery patterns. It has a little internal pocket for your keys, and closes with a large button and loop. I love its folk art feel, and uplifting spring vibe. It would make a lovely bag to take on holiday, as a great present for a bride to be or maybe even a Mothers day present.

The bag has been backed onto canvas and lightly padded with polyester wadding, but it is still a soft bag.
It measures 34 cm wide by 29 cm long, with a 10 cm panel around 3 sides.
There are 2 shoulder straps measuring 72 cm, and an embroidered facing for a neat finish.
It is lined in black and white ticking, and has an internal pocket 12 cm by 15.
It closes with a covered metal button and loop, and is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.

Please wash in a gentle cool cycle, and leave to dry naturally. Pull into shape whilst damp.

Your bag will arrive packed in clean, recycled packaging and sent as RM 2nd class signed for.

I loved finding this throw at last years car boot. However, unusually, it was embroidered onto a thin calico base. So, how to strengthen it? I came up with the idea of lightly padding it, by stitching around the existing lines, and giving it some TLC .
