“The life-sized Standing Miniature Schnauzer sculpture was a commission of Pepper. Pepper is a lovely older girl, and the second commission I did for her family, after Harry, my Sitting Labradoodle sculpture. Pepper was a dignified lady, and she was wonderfully in pose almost all the time, while the family’s new Labradoodle puppy companion Holly was dashing around. The clients and I decided on a classic pose making the most of Pepper’s gorgeous eyebrows and face, and I think I managed to get a little of her ‘in charge’ attitude too."
