Please be aware that in February, the prices of the jewellery that I make shall be going up due to increases mostly in silver prices, and other price increases having a knock on effect too. My apologies for this increase, it is unfortunately not one I have much control over.
All of the jewellery pieces in this Folksy shop are handmade by myself in a lovely, shed studio in my back garden.
The handmade jewellery I make is inspired by nature, the coastline of my home Island of Mersea, meaningful words and the joy of simplicity.
Handmade in recycled sterling silver, recycled gold, sterling silver, copper, 14ct gold filled, and occasionally brass. Semi-precious stones, precious stones and beads are also featured in my work.

Why is this ring in the Folksy Sunday Seconds Sale?
The way the ring band had been hand formed made it difficult to produce a perfectly round ring band, so hard to know what size the ring truly is. If the ring was sterling silver it would be strong enough to take a good hammering to form a perfect circle, but fine silver is much more brittle.
The ring had been hand formed in Precious Metal Clay, which you manipulate just like traditional clay, fired in a small kiln or by blow torch the firing removes the organic binder which had helped hold the fine silver particles together and the ring shrinks a little and becomes solid fine silver piece.
The ring is a size O, however due to it's slightly wobbly nature, could be slightly over possibly even a size O 1/2.
It can take between 1 - 3 working days to be dispatched.
