This was an attempt to make a more complex design on the copper and silver pieces, I really tink simple is best although I quite like this quirky piece.

Full description
A disc of copper with two random shapes of silver wire fused to it's surface, the wires are roughly L shaped with a curl at the top and are placed opposite each other back to back. They're not perfectly alike, I really can't seem to do that somehow, good thing I don't make that kind of jewellery.
Once the silver has melted and fused the piece is cleaned, polished and slightly domed and then reheated gently to give a patina to the surface.
The silver on this occasion has taken on a granulated appearance, I'm guessing that it was harder to melt two pieces of wire successfully so close to each other. I made this a little while ago and don't remember exactly. It's quite a nice effect almost like foam on a wave.The pendant measures 2.5cm/1" across and hangs, by a copper jumpring through the tab at the top, from a narrow black leather thong. The thong can be adjusted for length from choker to mid chest.
I feel this has a sort of magical symbol look to it, that's kind of what I was aiming for at the time. Like an amulet or lucky charm perhaps.
