Another experiment with copper and silver, I really like the long and short silver bands on this one.
This is such fun to do although sometimes it's a bit frustrating when the silver doesn't cooperate.

Full description
A circular pendant made of Copper with two lines of silver fused across it's surface. The top line is just inside the edge of the circle and the lower one extends considerably beyond either side.
They are not parallell to each other but at an angle so that eventually, if they were extended, they would meet somewhere off to the left of the pendant.
The longer piece of silver has melted into little blobs at each end. This piece is roughly where the equator would be if it was a planet, so I suppose the other piece is at the north pole.
After cleaning and polishing, the copper disc is domed slightly and then gently reheated to give a patina on the copper. As withall these pieces this is unpredictable, in this case I think it has left the impression of a planetary surface which is probably why I thought of equators and poles.
The pendant measures approximately 1"/2.5cm across with the longer slver wire adding around 1cm to the width.
It hangs, by a copper jumpring through the tag at the top, from an adjustable, fine brown leather thong. The thong can be adjusted from choker length to around mid chest.
Suitable for anyone.
