All my drawings and prints are original hand made items and not reproduced as giclee prints.
A few years ago I made a series of prints about pre-historic Wiltshire, for an exhibition. My theme was ancient sites based on the cycle of the seasons & what sort of ceremonies might have been performed at different times of the year. This print was my spring theme, when I imagined that people would meet to trade, make alliances, maybe feast & celebrate betrothals.
I used spring colours that evoke fresh new growth & the promise of warmer days to come.
