I like taking part in art challenges on Instagram and regularly take part in a "bird of the month" challenge. The challenge in October 2022 was to paint a Water Rail - a bird I confess to having never of heard of before!
Water Rails (Rallus aquaticus) are related to the Moorhen are secretive and not often seen. You are much more likely to hear a Water Rail - they sound like a squealing pig :D They live in reedbeds and freshwater wetlands throughout the UK.

Full description
I painted this Water Rail (Rallus aquaticus) sitting by the waters edge on my iPad using Procreate.
My digital artwork was then professionally printed on square (148mm x148mm) 350GSM card made from 100% genuine de-inked post-consumer waste. The card comes with a recycled kraft envelope.
The card is blank inside for you to write your personal message, so is suitable for almost all occasions. My logo is printed on the back.
Please message me if you would like to buy several cards and I will create a custom order for you to keep postage costs as low as possible.
Your card will be wrapped in tissue paper and sent by 2nd Class Royal Mail in a hard-backed 'Do Not Bend' envelope to protect it. I try to post orders the day after receiving them (orders placed at the weekend are posted on Mondays - apart from Bank Holidays).
