My main inspirations are nature, the seasons and the night. I love dawn and dusk. I try to draw daylight scenes but am never hugely happy with them.
Another inspiration is my local area - we have a beautiful coastline and mountains. I love remote landscapes and I find them inspiring and evocative. My idea of heaven is to live in a cottage with no neighbours, just fells, fields and pet sheep.
