Full description
A hand knitted coronation crown tea cosie. From the bottom up, the body of the crown is knitted using silver platinum grey coloured yarn and starts with a twisted edge giving a scallop look to the hem. There are a few rows of silver knitting and then a row of jewel bobbles in lapis and aquamarine coloured yarns. There are four knitted castellations on each side in the same silver platinum grey yarn. The cap of the crown is knitted in a sumptuous amethyst coloured yarn topped with a small pompom in the silver, lapis, amethyst and aquamarine coloured yarns. The crown ensures a good fit around the pot, yet has enough ease for a swift removal when a 'top-up' is required. The tea pot handle peeps through the side of the cosie so it dosent get too hot to handle.
Suitable for a standard 4-6 cup tea pot.
Perfect for the Kings Coronation in May this year.
