Full description
A hand knitted cream bobble tea cosie. From the bottom up, the body of the tea cosie is knitted using a cream/off white coloured yarn, and starts with a twisted edge giving a scallop look to the hem, there are a few rows of waffle stitch and then there is a row of bobbles; 3 in pine needle green, on top 2 in bright green and popped right on top 1 in pastel green, giving an ombre effect resembling an evergreen Christmas tree. The main body is knitted in a waffle stitch using cream yarn. It is a double thick stitch giving a good insulation to your tea pot. This stitch ensures a good fit around the pot, yet has enough ease for a swift removal when a 'top - up' is required. The tea pot handle peeps through the side so it dosent get too hot to handle. The top of the cosie is knitted in smooth stocking stitch, cast off with a knitted picot edging. It is tied together with a pine needle green, a bright green and pastel green hand made cords, tied in a bow.
A perfect house warming gift, or for yourself...... just because it looks pretty on the kitchen work top.
Suitable for a standard 4 - 6 cup tea pot.
