I saw these two Orange beauties growing along the kerbside, so just had to rescue them. That's it really, foraging meets art, what a lovely partnership. i think the foliage looks a little like seaweed, but still pretty!

Framed Botanical art- What a stunner this orange flower is in the flesh, Eschscholzia californica 'Orange King' California Poppy. In some ways, it's a shame the orange colour doesn't transfer to the paper, but that's traditional photography, and it wouldn't be a Cyanotype Photogram. The petals are so delicate and papery that the light has escaped through them in parts giving them a smudged blue look, for me, it's all part of the unexpected magic of Cyanotype.

Created on 300gsm acid-free watercolour paper, hinge-mounted to an acid free backboard with white mount, and framed with a contemporary sleek black frame with a GLASS front. It comes fitted with d rings and a cord ready to hang.
Named ‘Aouli’ numbered and signed on the reverse, it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity as an Original Artwork 1/1

Aperture is: 20 x 28 cm
This framed photogram will be posted out well wrapped and boxed and sent by Parcel Force 48hr tracked. I purchase packaging made from recycled products whenever I can.
