A short walk from my home is Harrop Edge Lane, a high ridge running from Dobcross to Diggle. Looking left down the valley is the site of Castleshaw roman fort and the Castleshaw reservoirs. Just the footings to the fort remain remain. I took a picture when the sun was just rising casting strong shadows along the lane.
