Full description
Large upcycled denim make up bag with bunting. This large sized cosmetic bag is made from upcycled blue denim from a pair of jeans. I've cut the fabric to incorporate some of the original seams and make a feature of them. The front of the make up bag is embellished with appliqué bunting. The flags are made from small offcuts from different sections of a piece of patchwork print fabric, and therefore co-ordinate beautifully with each other. The patterns include stripes, polka dots and ditsy florals in nautical shades of white, pale blue, beige and red. The bunting string is made from beige and white decorative twine. The cosmetic bag fastens with a matching red zip and is lined with red fabric with a slight sheen. The base of the bag is boxed giving lots of space inside. Please note, the denim has a slight faint mark on the far left edge of the front. This is the nature of pre-loved, upcycled materials, and the denim was thoroughly washed before use.
A useful large-sized cosmetic bag which can be used to store lots of make up. It could also be used as a pencil case, or to store other items. The use of upcycled denim, along with small offcuts of fabric from other projects, make this a very eco-friendly make up bag.
The approximate measurements of the make up bag are:
11 inches (28cm) wide x 6 inches (15cm) high x 2 inches (5cm) across the base.
