Wrong Side of Sol presents the art of crochet - beautiful crochet with vibrant colour combinations and eye-catching design. All my artworks are unique.
This item was originally going to be presented on a float mount and framed as a square. As I progressed with the work I thought it’d be interesting to present it as a round, challenging our eyes to follow the lines and curves.
Playing with colours, forms, and expectations is what Wrong Side of Sol is all about!

This item is so fab to look at with its pleasingly straight lines poured into the round of the hoop.
This checkers board with a difference will catch the eye as you pass by! Wrong Side of Sol has played with the expected, creating one funky object for your wall!
Crochet item sewn to a bamboo hoop measuring approx 14cms. Completed with a material covered, card backing to disguise the worked yarn! This is then hand sewn, with blanket stitch, to the crochet and completed with a hanging hook. The green yarn is made from recycled plastic bottles!
