3 Moons was inspired by an earlier watercolour painting I had painted of a Barn Owl and evolved with the rich tones of the blue oil pastels. The theme of the moons as it waxed, became full and waned magically entwined with the Barn Owl as she flies through the deep dark night under the moons light and finds solace on the old Oak tree. Three twinkly stars add a little extra magic.
