Both Peridot and Black Spinel are traditional birthstones for August and Leo, and Leo's colours are light green and gold.
Peridot is the transparent form of the mineral Olivine, and was mined by the ancient Egyptians, who called it 'the gem of the sun'.
These AAA grade micro-faceted beads have a vibrant yellow-green hue.
Black Spinel is very durable and has high reflectance, meaning these beautifully cut coin beads have lots of sparkle and shine.

Full description
An 8-10mm Prehnite nugget topped with a 3mm gold vermeil bead and a pair of AAA grade, faceted Black Spinel coins around a trio of AAA grade, micro-faceted 3.5mm Peridot beads.
The Prehnite nuggets are a semi-translucent, pale, milky green with black inclusions and the faceted Black Spinel and Peridot are AAA grade with a lovely sparkle.
They are hung from gold vermeil ear-wires.
Gold vermeil is sterling silver that has been plated with gold, and are stamped '925'.
These drop earrings measure approximately 1.5 inches (3.5cm), excluding the wires.
Presented in a small organza gift bag.
