Granddaughter Clocks - a DIY Woodworking PlanPack.
This Digital Product includes three pdf files and a zip file which I will email to you after purchase. You can view your files on your computer and email them to High Street or Online Plan Printers if you wish to print the full A1 plan sheets.
Make your own Granddaughter Clock from these woodwork construction plans or pass the drawings to a cabinetmaker or woodworker for a commission.
The Granddaughter Clock is a smaller version of traditional Longcase Clocks and is suited to the smaller home. This plan offers a choice of square or arched dials and, together with alternative skirtings, trunk doors and DIY mouldings, provides sixteen design variations. Mechanical or quartz clock movements may be used.
This Ashby Design Workshop Plan Pack comprises:
- A Colour Front Cover and Schedules of Operations (Building Instructions).
- A Cutting List (Bill of Materials).
- One A1 and four A3 size Plan Sheets.
- Photos and illustrations.
- Standalone metric and imperial dimensions are used on the main A1 Plan Sheet whilst dimensions on the supplementary A3 Plan Sheets are in millimetres.
Photos of two examples built in the 1980s by my father, Peter Ashby, are included.
Dimensions: 390mm wide x 228mm deep x 1493 – 1556mm high (height varies to suit dial).
