My Saturn's Rings design is inspired by a close up photograph taken by NASA's Cassini probe.
I've been fascinated by the intersection of textile crafts and science for many years and hacking my knitting machine has given me the ideal way to express the beauty of the patterns that arise in this area.

Full description
A handy little purse in my Saturn's rings inspired knitted fabric on the front and Harris Tweed on the back. It has a sturdy zip and lining and is ideal for carrying cash, bank cards,small tools or knitting and sewing essentials. The knitted fabric is pure Shetland-style wool from one of Scotland's oldest mills.The lining is grey polyester cotton and the zip is black with gold coloured metal. The dimesions are approximately 11cm by 11.5cm.
I knit the outer fabric in my studio in Edinburgh and the bags are constructed for me by a local social enterprise.
