I am happy to wrap and send gifts direct to recipients with a note - just specify their delivery address when you check out (I use either special delivery or track 24 so you can follow it round the country to the recipient). I cut and polish my own fordite, surfite and bowlerite, I'm happy to take commissions. If I don't have shipping to your country set up please drop me a message as it might be possible.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
These almost tear drop earrings have minimalist dangles of fordite which has been bezel set in sterling silver and finished with simple hooks. The fordite has a white base with red, silver and blue which form an 'x' type pattern. The silver and blue are sparkly metallic paints. Fordite is lightweight so these earrings are not heavy in the ears, they measure approx 45mm top to bottom by 18mm across. The earrings have been finished with simple hooks (if you'd prefer kidney wires then let me know and I'll swap them over). Comes gift boxed.
Fordite is the name given to the cured build up of paint that forms in spray booths at car factories. I believe this material has come from GM's Orion Assembly plant near Detroit within the last 10 years but haven't managed to pin point a specific car model or year, the sparkly paints and limited range of colours are consistent with recent fordite. I cut and polish this material myself (you can see the rough in some of the photos, its not included in the sale) so if you would prefer something else then drop me a message - I have quite a stash of different types of fordite from 1958 Cadillac to recent Jeep Wrangler.
