I am happy to wrap and send gifts direct to recipients with a note - just specify their delivery address when you check out (I use either special delivery or track 24 so you can follow it round the country to the recipient). I cut and polish my own fordite, surfite and bowlerite, I'm happy to take commissions. If I don't have shipping to your country set up please drop me a message as it might be possible.

These hoop earrings feature dainty teardrops of vintage fordite which has been bezel set in sterling silver. The fordite drops can be removed from the 10mm diameter hoops and turned around to show the very different patterns. One side has broad eye catching stripes in shades of blue, white, red and yellow, the other side has much finer stripes mostly white with some red, green, blue and yellow. The drops measure 25mm by 13mm (total drop when on the hoop is 35mm).
Fordite is the name given to many layers of cured car paint that builds up in old style spray booths at car factories. The paint gets baked hard inbetween each layer leading to a durable material that can be cut to show off the many colours. This particular material I have matched to the colour charts for Dodge in 1970 - that's not any old shade of yellow that's banana yellow! Thanks to more efficient painting processes less fordite is being made and vintage material like this is even harder to find as it gets used up so if you love your cars get some of the unique material whilst you can.
