Looking into a stream one day we noticed a pebble that was totally white apart from one spot of green that was just above the water line. As the flowing stream rippled around it the water made almost circular little patterns. This ever-moving, constantly evolving scene couldn't be captured in one static piece so we decided to incorporate the silver hoops which constantly move and separate as the necklace is being worn to represent the water in a stylised, articulated and contemporary way.
