I had three of these narrow pieces of silver in a bag of offcuts bought from my precious metal supplier. Two of them have just had a length of silver wire fused to their centres and hung using a silver tube soldered to the back. I decided to do the same to this one and then thought of enameling either side of the wire. Of course this meant I had to wait to make the hanging device at the back as my solder is very easy and would have melted off. I also didn't have any loose chain left so I couldn't use the tiny tubes for this one, therefore I've tested my soldering skills by soldering a short loop of wire to the back, it's worked pretty well I think.

Full description
A narrow silver pendant, enamelled deep, translucent blue with a line of silver wire fused down the centre and extending fractionally beyond the end.
The pendant measures approximately 3cm long and.75cm at it's widest point.
A loop of silver wire is soldered to the reverse of the pendant and it is supended from a sterling silver, fine ball chain. The chain is 45cm long.
Simple and elegant this pendant would suit most people and would make a lovely gift.
