Formerly 'Buttons, Beads and Blanket Stitch'.
My work predominantly comprises hand cut and burnished lino prints, with sewing playing an occasional part.
Whether working in print or in stitch, I am inspired by the natural world and the people around me, with words/text frequently playing an integral part.
* I endeavour to represent my pieces as clearly and with colours as true to life as possible, however some slight variations in tone between the image on screen and the piece itself may occur.*
I am always on the lookout for a lovely notebook or sketchbook to pop into my bag and generally have two or three on the go at any one time! The addition here of an original lino print gives a hand crafted boost to what would otherwise be a rather plain, everyday object.

This little sketchbook is perfect for recording ideas, notes and lists and for making sketches on the go!
The kraft paper front cover features a hand cut lino print of one of my original designs, ‘Mightier than the Sword’, with the reverse stamped with my Buttons, Beads and Blanket Stitch logo.
The book is A5 in size (148mm x 210mm), with blank 140gsm pages.
Due to the slightly textured cover and the fact of the design having been hand printed, variations in the print will naturally occur from book to book. This is all part of the beauty of a handmade piece!
