This is a perfect bag, just an end of line piece, and is in my seconds Sunday sale to create a bit of space for new work! The best donations! A kind lady I had never met before, contacted me to say would I be interested in a bag of old table linens?? You can imagine my reply. This sweet, domestic embroidery was one of the pieces in there.

Full description
This pretty bag is an end of line, and so it has gone into my Seconds Sunday to create space for new things! A pretty little storage bag, perfect for make up, travel size toiletries, or whatever you fancy! Made from a section of a lovely old tablecloth which had seen better days, it shows its history with a softly faded, washed out feel. The front has a bunch of handsewn Springtime flowers and a clutch of vintage buttons, whilst the back has a small sprig of flowers from another section of this great old table linen. It would make a sweet present for a bride to be, as a surprise for a best friend, or as a Mothers day gift.
The fabric is stitched onto canvas to strengthen it, but it is still a soft little bag.
The width is 22cm widening to 24cm and the height is 15cm.
The base is boxed to give a little more room.
There is a gold 22 cm zip with a white flower head pull, and it is lined in a floral vintage cotton.
There is a hook for your finger, or for hanging it up as a little piece of craftwork, and it is finished with my own embroidered name tag.
Can be washed on a gentle cycle or hand washed, and it likes to be dried naturally.
Sale bags are wrapped simply in clean, recycled packaging, and sent as RM 2nd class.
