Garnet is my own birthstone and I love the cherry red of this beautiful gemstone. I always love tiny beads and have had these stones in my collection waiting to be used for something special. I decided to make these gorgeous stones a subtle part of a dramatic piece. The design came together as I beaded and I let the materials lead the way, adding glass pearls to soften the look.

Full description
Mandala style statement necklace with garnet gemstones and glass pearls. With a mesmerising honey coloured crystal rivoli in the centre surrounded by hand woven seed beads in bronze and gold lustered raspberry, cream rose glass pearls and nine 2mm garnets nestled within the beadwork. The focal piece is suspended from two beaded chains woven in pondo stitch, with a beaded toggle clasp. A truly stunning piece which is sure to catch attention.
Measurements (approx):
The necklace length measures 17 1/4 inches (43.8cm) and the pendant drop will add another 1 1/4 inches (3.2cm). The chains are just under 2/8 inch (5mm) wide and the focal pendant measures approx 1 1/2 inches (3.8cm) in diameter by around a quarter of an inch (7mm) deep. If the chain is not your preferred length please feel free to contact me and I would be happy to adjust it to suit your requirements.
