Welcome to the Polarstar Pottery shop - I hope you'll find something here that makes you smile!
All items are hand-made using traditional pottery techniques at my home studio in Letchworth Garden City.
Looking for a Gift ? I can post direct to the recipient and include a message from you - just leave a 'note to seller' when purchasing. I will usually dispatch items within 24hrs and send you an email with the receipt and tracking number. All items will be gift wrapped in cream tissue, under lots of protective packaging, and sent by Royal Mail TRACKED48.
It is an honour to make things which are not only welcomed into people's homes, but take on a special significance in their lives.

Why not celebrate a special occasion with a bespoke ceramic piece made to your requirements?
This listing is to show some of the commissions I have undertaken and provides a way to pay a deposit once we have agreed the scope. Prices start from £60, including a £30 deposit.
Please message me (via the shop header) before purchase to start discussion about your requirements. I will email preparatory drawings and the finished price for your approval before you pay the deposit.
I will keep you informed throughout and send you images of work in progress.
Please allow 6 weeks for delivery. Ceramics can take a long time to complete - things have to dry slowly to avoid cracking and I need to fill the kiln (2 firings) for efficiency and best results.
Final payment will be made through a shop listing that is reserved just for you and will include a description of what we have agreed. The item(s) will be posted to you once final payment is made, or can be collected by arrangement.

- Cream candle holder for a 50th Birthday with cut-out images selected to represent shared memories
- Sgraffitto bowl and utensil holder for a 50th Birthday with a specially designed motif comprising images that were significant to the recipient
- Bespoke vase, commissioned to match existing ornaments and decor
- Porridge bowls (500ml) with individual lids, ordered as a Christmas gift
