These little brass stars have been in my stash for a while, I was using copper and silver and bought these by mistake. It turns out they work equally well with the silver wire, although they end up looking like copper when they are heated this way. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc and it seems the copper comes to the surface and colours it. Just as an interesting historical note, alchemists accidentally combined these metals and thought they had made gold, oh well back to the crucible guys.

Full description
Small copper stars with a star of silver wire fused inside the shape, the wire follows the star shape more or less but I like them to be a bit quirky so it's somewhat approximate. I tried several times to get a matching pair, this is the closest I came to that, hopefully someone will love them for their uniqueness.
