I made this pendant at a craft demonstration, showing people how I fuse the silver to copper, and then my new enamelling kit arrived. I've only been able to do enamelling at a craft hotel which I visit once a year or so, or using low fire enamels which I wasn't very happy with. I'm learning to use a torch firing set, so far not bad at all.

Full description
Pendant made from a copper disc,silver wire melted and fused to the copper to create a random pattern. Blue translucent enamel is applied to the copper surface, trying to leave the silver clear. Part of the wire extends beyond the ege of the disc. I think it looks like a firework in the night sky.
The disc measures 3cm across with 12mm of wire extending beyond the edge. The pendant hangs from a small copper ring and is suspended on an adjustable, natural leather thong which extends to 68cm approximately and adjusts down to 20cm at it's shortest, allowing it to be worn as you prefer.
