This is part of my copper and silver range, I had a few bits of silver clay which I moulded from small shells, unfortunately they didn't fire properly so I put them to one side and recently decided to use them to fuse to copper rather than the silver wire that I'd used before. I added enamel in small amounts in the gaps where bare copper showed.

Full description
A disc of copper with silver fused to it's surface, in this case a failed silver clay piece that I recycled. It has tiny patches of blue enamel scattered around the surface. I decided to call it mountains and lakes as it looks like a map of somewhere. After the firescale is removed the copper is gently reheated to give a coloured patina.The disc is slightly domed after cleaning and then polished to a high shine. The pendant is 25mm across and hangs by a copper jump ring from a length of waxed, red, cotton cord which is adjustable for length.
