All summer long I watch house martins zoom along country lanes, under canal bridges and in between hedgerows. They are so fast and lively, narrowly missing my head! If your eye is quick enough you can catch their vivid blue colour, which I have echoed in the hand-dyed embroidery thread in this kit.

A cute little house martin embroidery kit that is quick to stitch. Suitable for any bird or wildlife lover!
The house martin embroidery kit uses two simple stitches - back stitch and stem stitch. The design is printed on super soft natural linen and uses gorgeous variegated hand-dyed yarn in a shimmering bright blue.
Full instructions, stitch guides and tips are included, so this kit is a perfect place to start your love of embroidery.

- Perle number 5 embroidery thread in bright blue - beautiful variegated hand-dyed yarn by Norfolk indie-dyer Sandra Beech, more than enough to complete your kit
