INTERNATIONAL POST - I'm in the process of updating postage for the US and have temporarily removed it from my listings whilst I recalculate the prices to include the new taxes and handling fees which have to be paid prior to my items entering the US. If you are based in the US and wish to purchase something please send me a message and I will happily send you a quote and add the postage and charges back on to the item.
Due to new regulations sadly I can no longer post to Europe or NI.

When I started Bearlescent in 2014 all of my bears were hand embroidered onto wool felt or these hand dyed fabrics. After years of making mohair bears I am turning the clock back and rediscovering the embroidered bears that I started my journey with.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

Hand embroidered unique artist bear. Hand dyed fabric bear, a one of a kind collectable teddy bear designed and created by Bearlescent
Meet Violet, a unique hand embroidered bear, hand made using beautiful hand dyed velvet wool fabric in magenta with hints of purple. The light changes the colours during photography and picks up different tones from the fabric, she looks slightly different tones in different light. In naturally lit areas she is a beautiful deep magenta colour.
Violet is approx 11" tall, a slender elegant little lady who is adorned with hand embroidered flowers in ivory, naturals and pale greens using various stitches throughout.
Violet has safety eyes and a hand embroidered nose.
She is 5 way jointed with cotter pin fitments making her a fully poseable bear.
All of my bears are limited editions of 1, I never make two identical bears, the beauty of these fabrics is they can never be replicated as each piece is unique.
Violet is a beautiful graceful bear, designed as a keepsake heirloom bear, she is not suitable as a child's toy and as such has not been CE tested.
She will arrive with birth certificate and will be posted by Royal Mail 2nd class, she will require a signature upon delivery.
Violet wears her name on a wooden tag and Bearlescent is to the back of one ear on a polymer clay button.
She wears a double bow made from ivory satin ribbon and pale green chiffon ribbon to match her embroidery.
