Spring owls and blossom tote bag. This pretty tote bag is made from pale blue fabric with an appliqué design depicting two owls sitting on a blossom branch. The owls are made from co-ordinating lilac print fabrics – the larger one with a pattern of white and yellow daisies and white polka dots, and the smaller one with purple, lilac, and white flowers. The owls have lilac velvet feet and golden-yellow velvet beaks. Their eyes are cream and I've hand-embroidered black sleepy eyelashes on them. They are sitting on a branch made from beige satin ribbon with white polka dots. The blossom is made from felt flowers in shades of lilac and purple, which I’ve hand-embroidered in place with purple lazy daisies. Above the owls, I've added a cloud in white fabric with grey polka dots. The bag is lined with the same lilac floral fabric that the smaller owl is made from.
The measurements of the tote bag are approx. 14" (36cm) H x 12.5" (32cm) L x 3" (8cm) W and the handles are of a length that can be worn on the shoulder or hand-carried.
This tote bag is both versatile and pretty. With its beautiful spring colours, cute owls, and lovingly embroidered blossom, it would make a lovely gift, particularly for someone who loves owls.
