These pendants are always a bit random, I get to my bench look at what's there and then decide what to do with the silver. I did one a bit like this before but with much heavier silver. I like the effect that I got with this one. No two are ever identical it is impossible to reproduce an effect exactly.

Full description

A circular pendant in copper, with silver wire fused to the surface in 4 lines. Two very fine and two slightly heavier. Measuring approximately 2.5cm across, the pendant has been slightly domed to give a more interesting appearance. The silver wires extend slightly beyond the edge of the copper at each end and the heavier wire has formed little drops at the bottom end. These drops made me think of rain. As the silver melts and fuses to the copper, it spreads and forms an interesting rippled surface, rather like water. After the pendant has been cleaned it is slightly reheated to give some colour and an appearance of age to the copper. It is then polished on both sides, a copper jump ring fixed to the ring at the top of the circle and the pendant hung from a very narrow, silver-grey, leather thong which is adjustable for length.
