Welcome to my shop Wiktorski Ceramics. Here you will find a variety of hand made products including pottery and cards. Each piece is made purely by hand and each glaze I apply is weighed and mixed by my own fair hands, similar to baking a cake. I was taught the traditional way and each glaze has taken many years to perfect. This makes it totally unique to Wiktorski Ceramics. Each piece is a one off and will not be seen again. Ceramic sculpture/creature mounted on wood.
My clay creatures are designed to compliment your interior as a unique work of art.
This piece was sculpted using only my hands and a few clay tools. It has a light texture applied before been painted with oxide before the first firing. It is then glazed and fired again. It is mounted onto a white washed piece of quality wood. I have attached two sweet little hearts to make this a totally unique piece.
I like to refer to my Ceramics as creatures due to the inspiration for this piece and their quirky character. This piece was inspired by underwater coral whilst snorkelling years ago in Thailand.
My pottery is entirely handmade. You may see tiny imperfections and signs of a handmade item. This is absolutely normal, I am not machine, that's why it is called handmade. This will only add a certain unicity to the item.
They can be placed inside on your mantle piece or window sill etc etc.
Each piece of pottery is made by hand as a one-off piece and is glazed using my own secret recipes unique
to 'Wiktorski Ceramics'.
The colours on this particular piece are pale blue/white and a hint of pale green.
It measures approx 17 x 20cm.
